Allied Resources is actively seeking a Project Controls Engineer for their top client in the Greater Philadelphia, PA area. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive starting hourly rate, hybrid work schedule, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) w/ employer match, and other great incentives.

The Project Controls Engineer will support in the preparing and managing scopes of work, multi-million project budgets, estimates, schedules, and the overall execution of major Electric Utility / Power construction projects. Qualified candidates will have a background in utilizing and reviewing scope documents, technical requirements and blue-prints to create project schedules, develop construction milestones, cost estimates, proposals, etc.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; and/or the equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years of Project Controls Engineering / Specialist experience within the electric utility, renewable energy, industrial engineering and/or heavy construction
  • Experience creating and monitoring project baselines, master schedules, milestone timetables, and ability to identify any schedule digressions throughout project execution phase
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with Project Managers in preparing and reviewing project budgets, cost estimates, financial forecasts, and technical bid packages
  • Must have experience leading projects through the pre-planning and site walk-downs, through the engineering, construction, and close-out project phases
  • Initiate change-requests and RFI's, aid in material/equipment purchasing, procurement, vendor management, daily reporting, contract reviews and approvals, etc.
  • PMP Certification is a plus
